The Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) hosts one of the world’s largest and most exciting trade shows in the automotive business. Held at the prestigious Las Vegas Convention Center, the SEMA trade show provides attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities, and more.
The SEMA trade show is not open to the general public, but is solely for businesses to showcase their new products and services, and also for business owners and representatives to meet and network together about ideas and plans. This year, SEMA drew more than 60,000 buyers from here and abroad and introduced over 20,000 new automotive parts, tools, components, and services spread out across 2 million square feet of exhibitor space.
In addition to the great products featured at SEMA, there are many celebrities within the automotive business who come to SEMA every year, either as attendees or as demonstrators. Also, the Las Vegas Convention Center happens to be right around the block from the Las Vegas Strip, so after the convention shuts down for the evening, exhibitors and attendees of SEMA can hit the town for a fun night of whatever activities that will still allow them to be at least somewhat functional at the convention the following day.
Although Lamin-x did not exhibit this year, rest assured we will be making a huge appearance in 2013. If you plan on attending, be sure to be on the lookout for us, although we’re pretty sure you won’t be able to miss us with what we have in mind.
